Sincerely I'd say, my biggest victory is not by winning the gold medal, but, when Syamil asked me to be the captain for the team. It's really an honor. This is the game I love, it's part of who I am. Managing the team, however, wasn't an easy task. Just imagine having to manage 4 guys :) what a job. Weekends never been any busier than the last few months. Worth the struggle, wasn't it?
The triumph cannot be had without the struggle. And I know what struggle is. I have spent 7 years trying to reach my dream. 7 years worth waiting for. why 7? because that's how long I've been waiting for this tournament, that's how long I've been playing ping pong. *I got bronze last time around* I came to win, but I didn't expect to come first. If you find this statement confusing, know that my definition of WINNING is when I got the chance to represent WMSO. pretty basic, but I love the idea. I know ping pong is not so-called the most awaiting game of the year, I did, feel like an underdog, but who cares? We won. haha.
truth is, it was kinda an easy win. I was hoping the games could go pretty rough. Just saying. Still, I am grateful He made it easy for us. Oh, no tears of glory that day. I was really overwhelmed with joy, I couldn't even stop screaming!
we are the champion!

Thanks for my team member for all your hard work. Congratulations again to Cristina, Norlina, Khai and me, myself for winning the gold. Go WMSO. Ping pong for life hehe!
I guess, faith is essential for victory. In the end, even if we didn't win, inside and out, I still feel like a winner. “There are victories of the soul and spirit. Sometimes, even if you lose, you win.- Elie Wiesel.
p/s: one of wmso members asked me if I was once a state player. i used to say no, but now i can proudly say yes, I am, the state player of wellington haha. Sayang WMS0 :)
