Hello Wellington, the coolest little capital in the world

It's been a month since my family came to NZ. it was AWESOME. I was thinking of simply copying and pasting the posts of our road trip from my sis's blog, but naa. I rather do it myself. More specifically, I want to dedicate this series to those wanting to go to NZ. Hopefully, these posts help :) 


My family arrived approximately at 3.15pm on 29th of may 2011. They were five of them, ayah, umi, ikin, asma' and kamilah. Along and Edad, sadly couldn't join because I'm on a tight budget :( Out of all places, I first met them in the toilet. Big LOL there! Brought them to my own little mansion, and wallah, ayah got his birthday surprise celebration. 


If you are planning to visit wellington, 3 days are definitely enough. Not knowing where to go? Not having enough money to do bungy jumping? Then, head on to Te Papa Museum. It's the 1st attraction in NZ, as suggested by TripAdvisor. It is wayyyy cool than any other museums in msia, trust me :D *oh i forgot I hardly been to any museums in msia haha*

The next day, they took a cable car past Kelburn Park and Victoria Uni to the top entrance of the Wellington Botanic Gardens. My sis claimed that the lookout was magnificent. She could see the whole city, the harbour and the housing areas. I couldn't agree more! Headed straight to Lady Norwood Rose Garden, and you'll find yourself deeply immersed in the beauty of roses, well, considering it's winter season it wasn't that beautiful-la haha.

Next pit stop is Victoria University of Wellington yahoo! My uni, of course. Taken some pictures at Hunter Lawn *whatever the name is*, a popular spot for Salam Perantauan. Haha. I am so glad umi and ayah got their chance to see my uni, bcoz they are the reason why I am here in the first place <3

ouh, i forgot to mention something. you probably wanna try one of the best ice creams here in Wellington, presenting.... Kafe Eis.

So I guess that was it. Sorry the sequence of the story was a mess, I wasn't actually there to accompany them during their stay in welly. I've got tests and assignments waiting to be completed that week, pity me :( and oh, there is part II, a night in Welly. Hopefully rajinlah tangan aku ni menaip haha. till then, ya!
